Journey

A tag made for a challenge at MOO-MANIA  the theme being Journey.I painted a tag with Tim holtz distress paint for this one I used mustard seed and seedless perserve allow to dry.I then embossed it  using couture creations ascension folder then stamped a map stamp randomly over tag and just bits of it,.added a few blobs of picket fence crackle paint allow to dry Made the moo by tearing a page out of a dictionary making sure I had the word journal on it added some paint layered it on blk card and put on tag.Letters are grunge board ones painted then and the put picket fence crackle paint over them when dry add to tag Using white ribbon I coloured  with the paints  half yellow and half purple thread some though hole in tag I had some left over so put a couple of bits on side of tag.

Anniversary Card

A card I made for my bother and his wife for they wedding anniversary.I started my painting a white sheet of card using yellow and pink acrylic paint using a couple of stencils to add to the background then a text stamp randomly over card, using a embossing folder embossed the bottom half of card layer on black card and put on front of the card.Die cut some of Tims tattered flowers  out of the same painted card put together using brads put in one corner slipped a couple of metal leaves underneath.Add the word dream to other corner then stamp out PaperArtsy JOFY word and put on the bottom half of card.Put a sentiment across the centre of card place over the line where the embossing starts.

Birthday Hanging

This is what I have done for my Grandaughter birthday instead of a card I am putting it into the challenge at Sunday Stampers the theme being a hanging.I painted a piece of mountboard with pink and yellow acrylic paint the using a old credit card and using black and white paint to make some random lines.I then used 2 of Tim's new stencils splatters and dot fade place randomly over using black soot DI inks.Stamp used is Doo Lally Pip hopeful Harriet I coloured her roughly with pencils added a flower in corner.Finished it off adding grunge board letters painter with red acrylic paint and attached. Put a couple of holes along the top thread blk ribbon though and  then tie a knot at each end and at the front of the hanging.

Tag

I tag I have done for a couple of challenges Moo-Mania  the theme being sewing and Tag Along who theme is polka dots.I started with a tag which I painted using acrylic paint when dry I stamped Tim Holtz and Dylusion stamps to make a background  I embossed some of it with silver embossing powder it does not have to be perfect I then used a stencil and pink paint  to make some little dots I then used some frantage  pink glitter embossing powder in blobs and heated from underneath until melted.Add ribbon,a couple of buttons and safety pin. For the moo's I used mountboard painted them with oil paints with a old credit card add lines in blk and wht .Stamp a mannekin on one and a ruler on the other and emboss with silver the stamps were from a freebie set I got silver emboss around the edges and put on tag.

Male Challenge

A journal page for a challenge over at Artful Times  the theme being male. I started by swiping acrylic paints over the page do not worry about doing it neatly used a couple of stencils using paint and DI inks which gives a bit of depth. and all stamps used are Tim Holtz I made a couple of masks of the men which meant I could stamp things to look as though they are behind the men.

Childhood

A journal page for a challenge at Journal Journey the theme being childhood.I gessoed the page and then went over the top with acrylic paint I used yellow and blue then using a bubble stencil ink though it with red.Stamps used are IndigoBlu Vintage Nursery Rhymes .

Less is more

Journal page for a challenge at *ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY the theme being less is more.I used pastels to do the background so there was a light tinge to the page.I then stamped some Tim Holtz and Visible Image stamps just using archival ink.I had to resist doing any more
