Graphic 45-Typography Hanging

For this month  at Ali-Crafts I was given Graphic 45 paper -Typography to use.

I must say I have been converted to Graphic 45 it is lovely to use and the quality is very good.I decided to do a hanging
I started with a piece of mountboard which I covered in paper  then when around the edges with  Tim Holtz tissue tape  using a graphic 45 stamp of the alphabet and typewriter I stamped them on paper the I put a light coat of gesso over it.

Then using Tim's dies tattered florals  and  tattered leaves I edged using walnut stain then sprayed them with perfect pearls scrunch them up and allow to dry when dry flatten the out lightly and put  the flower together using a brad  attach to hanging I used pinflair to attached it with and then I poked leaves underneath

I then tore and couple of strips of contrasting  paper  and put on either side I also cut out the word Typography which I put on top right corner at a angle.before I attached any of the paper I edged it with walnut stain DI.I then punched to hole at top and threaded brown raffia though the tying knots in the front.

.Added a couple of pen nibs to the left side. Then cut out one of the toppers from pack tripled embossed it and put on top left hand side made up a gem embellishment and put on raffia.

Do hope you all like it.

Graphic 45 Card

While I was playing with the paper I also made a card with it I took a sheet of the text paper tore around the edge edge them with DI and embossing with clear embossing powders then a strip of contrasting paper and do the same as text paper. Cut out one of the toppers from pack I used the lady on a bike tore around edges with DI  the sprayed it with crafters companion spray and sparkle mount a a piece of black card. Before putting on card add a little strip of ribbon under one side,

I then added a metal flower embellisment in top right hand corner and metal corners in top left hand corner and the in right hand bottom one.
