Anniversary Card

A card I made for my bother and his wife for they wedding anniversary.I started my painting a white sheet of card using yellow and pink acrylic paint using a couple of stencils to add to the background then a text stamp randomly over card, using a embossing folder embossed the bottom half of card layer on black card and put on front of the card.Die cut some of Tims tattered flowers  out of the same painted card put together using brads put in one corner slipped a couple of metal leaves underneath.Add the word dream to other corner then stamp out PaperArtsy JOFY word and put on the bottom half of card.Put a sentiment across the centre of card place over the line where the embossing starts.

Birthday Hanging

This is what I have done for my Grandaughter birthday instead of a card I am putting it into the challenge at Sunday Stampers the theme being a hanging.I painted a piece of mountboard with pink and yellow acrylic paint the using a old credit card and using black and white paint to make some random lines.I then used 2 of Tim's new stencils splatters and dot fade place randomly over using black soot DI inks.Stamp used is Doo Lally Pip hopeful Harriet I coloured her roughly with pencils added a flower in corner.Finished it off adding grunge board letters painter with red acrylic paint and attached. Put a couple of holes along the top thread blk ribbon though and  then tie a knot at each end and at the front of the hanging.

Tag

I tag I have done for a couple of challenges Moo-Mania  the theme being sewing and Tag Along who theme is polka dots.I started with a tag which I painted using acrylic paint when dry I stamped Tim Holtz and Dylusion stamps to make a background  I embossed some of it with silver embossing powder it does not have to be perfect I then used a stencil and pink paint  to make some little dots I then used some frantage  pink glitter embossing powder in blobs and heated from underneath until melted.Add ribbon,a couple of buttons and safety pin. For the moo's I used mountboard painted them with oil paints with a old credit card add lines in blk and wht .Stamp a mannekin on one and a ruler on the other and emboss with silver the stamps were from a freebie set I got silver emboss around the edges and put on tag.

Male Challenge

A journal page for a challenge over at Artful Times  the theme being male. I started by swiping acrylic paints over the page do not worry about doing it neatly used a couple of stencils using paint and DI inks which gives a bit of depth. and all stamps used are Tim Holtz I made a couple of masks of the men which meant I could stamp things to look as though they are behind the men.

Childhood

A journal page for a challenge at Journal Journey the theme being childhood.I gessoed the page and then went over the top with acrylic paint I used yellow and blue then using a bubble stencil ink though it with red.Stamps used are IndigoBlu Vintage Nursery Rhymes .

Less is more

Journal page for a challenge at *ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY the theme being less is more.I used pastels to do the background so there was a light tinge to the page.I then stamped some Tim Holtz and Visible Image stamps just using archival ink.I had to resist doing any more

Birds Tag

A tag I made for a couple of challenges Sunday Stampers and a new challenge to me Tag Along the theme being birds.I started with a mount board tag painted with blue acrylic paint then dabbed a white and a darker blue randomly.I then used a stencil and walnut stain DI make the bubbles and I then using walnut stain go around the edges stamped a Paperartsy text stamp using a grey ink.stamped some Dylusion birds in bottom corner.Stamped and cut out Artistic Stampers typewriter letters..Die cut Tim's bird on branch add a bit of colour to it a gem for his eye attach across the middle.Using pinflair glue put letters across to spell birds.I then used a piece of hession,metal embellishments and words randomly.

Card

This month I am using Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper, I loved the paper it smells lovely and is almost a light  card weight rather than paper.
I started with a 5x7  blank card then chose a blue paper from the pack, tore it to size and stamped randomly over it using Tim Holtz and Artistic Stamper stamps, going around the edges using DI Broken China and Walnut Stain and then embossed, layered on to black card and attach to card I then tore a strip of of contrasting card which  matched  the topper I used and put across the middle of card. With the topper I added some glossy accents over flowers and leaves layered on to black card and using Pinflair glue to make it stand proud of the card. I then die cut some flowers using Tim Holtz die Tattered Floral sprayed with Spray and Sparkle and made up using a brad  though the middle attach 1 at top and 1 at bottom, I added the word 'dream' and a key and birdcage metal embellishment which I attached a piece of bakers twine though the hole and tied in knot.

Money Wallet

This month I am using  Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper.
I started with a Tim Holtz tag size 12 which I folded in half. I choose two different papers from the pack, one I tore around the edges so it would fit the front of the card, edging it using DI Dusty Concorde. I then sprayed the paper with Spray and Sparkle Silver. When dry I attached it to the card with a contrasting colour paper, tore a strip and edged and sprayed as with the card, attach along bottom to make a pocket. Choosing two of the toppers in pad go around  the edges using DI inks, then spray with the sparkle. Added a couple of card candy down each edge of pocket.
Inside I used the same paper as pocket on front then added another piece of card to make pocket for the
money.
To finish off using grunge board letters which I coloured using DI inks then I triple embossed them and put on the front of the card along the pocket. Then threaded a piece of ribbon at side, tied in a bow.

Autumn Tag

The September challenge over at Ali-Crafts the theme being Autumn.I started with a size 10 tag I then sprayed using Dylusion sprays squeezed orange ,cut grass,fresh lime and melted chocolate also I drew a few lines across tag with a paintbrush and using the spray straight from bottle and allow to dry.I then sprayed a A4 sheet of card in same colours allow to dry.Back to tag stamped a Tim Holtz text stamp down left side I then used some stencils to give the background some depth then stamped and embossed so they stood out.
I then using Tim Holtz dies cut some tattered florals and tattered leaves from the sheet of card stamped over them with various stamps then went around edges with walnut stain them put some perfect pearl on to give a little sheen put them together so you have a big one and then a smaller one before attaching put a couple of strands of raffia around the bottom and  attach to tag put bigger flower with leaves attached over the raffia on left hand side and put gem in centre. Stamp and cut out a few words and place on tag.

All in a Row

One tag for the challenge at Moo Mania the the theme being all in a row.I first painted a tag with acrylic paints yellow and orange edge tag with walnut stain DI.Stamped some Dylusion  and Indigo stamps.Then stamped the Indigo children on a moo stampboard I then triple embossed it put 2 holes and threaded chain though and attach to tag with a brad.stamp the word the letters of  games cut them out and attach to tag.
