Hi all a journal page for the challenge at ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY the theme being houses. I started by colouring page with pastels I then randomly stamped some Tim Holtz stamps and I also used some stencil I then took the plunge and drew the houses myself and then coloured in with oil pastels this is the 1st time I have put anything on my blog that I have drawn myself. Cat is a gorgeous stamp and words are Visible Image and Butterflies Kisses birds are Hobbycraft stamps.

Well, I think this is a fantastic painting, and very brave of you when you say it is your first posting of your own drawing. There is a whole school of art, I think it was in the 1970s or 80s, in which artists drew and painted as a child would envision and draw a scene.
Perhaps this is a style you could include in your work, and develop the feeling of the child's eye. Lovely work.
