Journal Page

A journal page for a couple of challenges first at Sunday Stampers  the theme being dream and the
 A vintage Journey  the theme being say it with words. Background is done using distress paints I then used some of Tim's stencils and then his stamps along with paperartsy and visible image. I must say I am not too impressed with this page but can't say why I  any tips please.

love those two colours together Becky.... have you tried adding a very small smidge of black over the colours? that sometimes brings it all together for me... or around the edges.... whatever, I loves it... Thanks for joining in with the Sunday STamper x

You've got a great sense of freedom to this Becky. I find splodging my Distress Paints onto the page and spritzing them with water helps them to blend and mix beautifully. Let them dry naturally and they'll stay perfectly matte. Hope that helps. Thanks for joining us at A Vintage Journey. Jenny x

Fab contrasting colours, and I always love seeing that haunting face... I think she works so well for art journalling. I agree with Jenny's tip next time you're having a play with the DPs, but I like the dynamic movement of the sweeps of colour here too. Thanks so much for joining us on A Vintage Journey.
